This portrait was done from a series of photos I took in Panama. The chicken was crossing the street in full bloom. I was researching the work of David Ochre at the time and this reminded me of one of his painting with a rooster as a subject. I took inspiration from this piece and as David was a major influence in the way I use tape on my painting, I used this technique to create new ideas and move to another level.
